I sit and wait,
For you to come home to me.

While you're away,
I sit and think,
How wonderful life can be,

While you're away,
I sit and remember,
All the things we've said.

While you're away,
I sit and know,
Our feelings are not dead.

While you're away,
I know the truth,
You think of these things too.

While you're away,
We think together:
Blessed are we, both me and you.

I'm posting on this bc no one else did. :) I didn't think it was a very good poem when I wrote it, but I would like to know what others thought......
