Brain Freeze

Your love is like a brain freeze
Killing me
Making me grit my teeth
But I want more and more
Until the wounds are raw again
Putting thoughts in my head
I wish I could just start over

I’m frozen
Burning cold to the core
I have no feeling
No heart anymore
I don’t know why I still come for more
Frozen in this hollow shadow

Your love is like a million insects
Creeping over me
Forcing a scream out of me
I choke on it
It makes me sick
I can’t handle anymore of this

Your love is like me
Cold
Empty
Nothing

Scratching my scars till they bleed
Ugly
Alone
And frozen
