Heart Broken

Contributed by unpredictable on Friday, 6th December 2002 @ 10:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Her heart once whole
Now broken in two
By an innocent man
Who never intended on being true
He held back his heart
As her's, she freely gave
She loved only him
But him, she could not save
His heart was taken
A beautiful blonde girl made the claim
But still his intentions
Were just in playing a game
He played around
Loving just for fun
Breaking girls' hearts
One by one
This girl's heart
Had been mended and repaired
A thousand times
She tried to find one man that cared
When she thought
Her luck was running dry
He showed up
And asked her "WHY?"
"Why could a girl as beautiful as you
Be so heartbroken?
Be so blue?"
She knew he was the type
That would make her cry
So she looked at him and said,
"It's because of men like you, that is the reason why!"
