Her heart was felled by a silent grace
A wordless hymn she couldn’t trace
Light revealed its truest form
A fall from grace; she’d be reborn
Seeing what could not be seen
The world awoke the sacred dream
Her soul of rock, the angel moved
Chiseled by love until it smoothed
Within the heart that frees the mind
There lies a place beyond all time

Very cool poem, the rhyme scheme holds the reader well. The light that exists within us all is something that cannot die and is itself ageless. The transition you placed upon it was good and I liked it very much as a whole. |
