selfstruggles

The taste of death,
so calm, so everlating.
I lay here in my tub.
The blood sinking down.
My body took a thrashing
of so many different lashings.
The water, a dark red.
It cut off my breathing
as I slip slowly
into the red, fury water.
As I slip slowly into darkness.
I saw the most beautiful thing.
A lovely girl, about my age.
She quickly grabbed my body,
and pulled me out of the harmful state.
State of pain, of drowning, of death.
I ask her why she saved me when
I have nothing left in my life.
She said only one thing that I once did not believe in...
She said, "Love."
I got up, all covered in blood,
with a tear in my eye.
Slowly I revived, slowly I died....
