Being a writer, must empty my head.
Mostly it comes from deep within.
Either way for me sleep don't come
Till all my writing is done.
After twenty six years this I know
Not jus nocturnal or a 48 hours.
It's till my writing flows free.
Sometimes 48 hours fore I sleep.
Jus let God's vibes flow deep.
Worry not 'bout if it will come.
What cha friends's mite say
There's power in that pen, Hey!
It's the one thing that happens to me.
Helps keep my soul so very strong.
Reading others
don't leave much
energy to write.
Burning midnite oil day-n-nite.

| I like this write..You expressed why it is ppl do write..And why they write what they do..And after twenty nine years I feel myself that what we find is not always what we write..Good post here. |

so true.. people don't understand, the energy it takes to write.. my ex used to call it "playing with the computer"..

My hubby also feels its playing abt with the computer. Poetry is from the soul and from the heart expressing yourself in verse. You expressed this oh so well
Another fabulous write may the words continue to flow with the god given talent you have.
