Every time I see you my eyes gleam with fear,
I start to breakdown and finally, the tear,
I try to tell you what you mean to me,
But I can only give you a poem for you to see.
To me my words are powerful and come straight from my heart,
But for you to realise this it must be pretty hard,
I can’t tell you how much you mean to me,
My words would be off the page and drowned into the sea.
My words would be lost in the ocean of tears,
Collected in bottles with the most upsetting fears,
I can’t get over how hard it is to say,
The most important 3 words to me today.
All I can say now is that I love you,
I just wish I could see “I love you too”,
That time may come maybe one day,
But I thought id give this to you,
Just what I wanted to say.
