Toe tags in my VCR
Play, pause, pause, pause then rewind,
Images logged, music playing
Real life left somewhere far behind,
One big blur it has all become
Where is my happiness, is this my fun?
Toe tags straight from Hollywood
Widescreen and digital sound,
Are these our drinks, is this our food
Stop, eject, and then the ground,
No direction, no script and no editing
One take and one take only
Why are we always acting?

I watched this movie a long while back. have to see it again to refresh my memory. Good write, but do you think everyone is acting? Sometimes, the actions in movies are real life to some. Of course TV can make it anything you want it to be, so as acting goes.

Hi Rose,
It's not really a comment on the film itself, it's just so powerfully done that it made me consider who my friends really were!
Acting is just proffesional lying and I seem to have known more than my fair share of aspiring amatuers!

This was my attemp at writing in a different style to usual Candice,
I'm still not sure it worked all thet well, it just doesn't feel that comfortable for some reason!
But thankyou anyway, all comments do make me feel better about my writes.
