Out of the light
Stepped into the darkness
Ran the little girl I once knew

Now a woman true.

I remember the times,
Her heart was so open to all
For her, the stars and moon rose and fell

Now what’s left...I can’t tell.

Where do you belong little one?
Where once you called your home…
Now all undone
…Now all alone.

Such a beautiful soul.
Blonde curls waving in the soft winds
Beautiful eyes, soft and blue.

Nothing left now, but cold to ensue.

What has happened to her?
The little girl I remember?
What has happened to love in her heart?

How did her life fall apart?

Where do you belong little one?
Where once you called your home…
Now all undone
…Now all alone.

Oh sweet girl,
Back to me, journey please.
For we can work this out together…

Come back to the light …and me.
