My Absolution

Contributed by dark_descent on Monday, 24th January 2005 @ 12:40:45 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

I thought that I'd been taken
That my life had been forsaken
But now I've found my hope, my light
The one to guide me through my plight

To my soul your heart has spoken
Spirit stirred and love awoken
You reach out and save my grace
Your hands they dry my tear stained face

Scars of the past begin to heal
Your smile has taught me how to feel
Your sweet caress against my skin
Angelic touch forgiving sin

You take away all of my pain
The dying now becoming sane
You pulled me from the dark abyss
Resurrection by a kiss

This poem has made me think about the one that has done the same for me.

Guardian angels are hard to find. Well, I guess normally they find you, so you're in luck. Well written. I really like your work.
Take care.
