My Aphrodite’s sweet perfume,
Boils my fiery blood
And it is passion that does consume,
My soul in massive flood.
Her features complex, yet utterly fine,
With perfection of goddess true.
To describe her beauty-to show the sign;
Know now what I must do.
Stepped from the shell, when I understand,
With stunning beauty and perfect face.
She is passion, and I: the poet with pen in hand;
Astonished scribe to marveled grace.
Everlasting Goddess; always with me,
Even if I, Hephaestus; forever to be.
