Just To Be With You

“Just To Be With You” - by J. Samuelson Copyright©2001 04/01

With weak and broken wings
My heart took off, and flew
Complete loss of control
Just To Be With You.

That night I saw your face
And sat so close to you
Your head upon my head
Somehow, right then I knew.

I felt the sudden urge
To reach out for your hand
Afraid to make the move
I was in sinking sand.

Butterflies were restless
Not quite sure what to do
Wanting deep inside
Just To Be With You.

Time was seeming endless
The night now gone so fast
Loving every second shared
Wishing it could last.

Every single instant kept
Imbedded in my mind
I can’t believe I found someone
So warm, and sweet, and kind.

You’re one who is so special
I know that there are few
Do anything to have a chance
Just To Be With You.

Every time you look away
I’m afraid that this is true
I find myself stare at your face
And dream to be with you.

Hoping you won’t catch me
I am blushing, feeling shy
Intrigued by all your beauty
Can’t quite look you in the eye.

Praying for the day to come
You say you feel it too
I’ll keep on trying everything
Just To Be With You.

This is a Timmy Jimmy poem.
I could have written this.
I think it got no comments because it was long.
Liked you format and the poem was great.
I/'/m glad it finally got its respect finally...
