Nomad

Contributed by dark_descent on Sunday, 23rd January 2005 @ 03:50:37 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I'm the one without a home
No destination, cursed to roam
I tread the path of those before
Who searched this life for something more

My body severed from my roots
My feet they bleed inside my boots
I have no purpose, have no past
Of my kind I am the last

I chose the road of twists and turns
A darkened path of no return
I walk in shadow, find no light
A dying nomad of the night

A very well composed poem of what a man should prefer to avoid. Thank God I haven't had to experience such a life; I pray you haven't either. God bless

Really well done. The rhythm is well kept through the whole thing. I really enjoyed reading it.
Take care.
