Will you be here for me?
Think that you will stay?
I need more than tomorrow
And more than yesterday.
Are you here for me today?
And all the days that follow?
I just need to be happy
To forget the pain and sorrow.
I’m not asking for commitment
Just asking for the truth
I’m here and I’m not leaving
Do you still need more proof?
My love is never leaving you
It’s here and it shall stay
It’s never been forgotten
Just waiting for our day.
The friendship is our present
The future up in the air
Waiting for our destiny
To finally take us there.
At some point we shall find out
Sometime it shall be known
If we can be together then
If we make us our home.
It’s hard, all of the praying
The hoping and the time
The distance makes it even worse
On this yearning heart of mine.
I wonder if you feel this too
As strong as it’s in me
Wanting to get to you soon
To be all that we can be.
It’s difficult and stressful too
These thoughts inside my head
Completely wanting you with me
Now it all has been said.
I will not hide my feelings
It’s true you need to know
I’m still expecting nothing
Just had to tell you so.
Don’t think I cannot wait here
Of course I always will
You are that space inside me
That only you can fill.
I’m only being fair to you
It’s all that I can do
To tell you you’re here in me
To say that I love you.
When destiny comes calling
I’m ready for my fate
What’s there for me and waiting
I’ll take it all the way.
I’ll give all that I have inside
If you will share with me
This time will be One Last Time
My last chance is here you see.
Never will I try again
I will not risk the pain
One Last Time to hold you
And kiss you in the rain.
One Last Time to please you
One Last Time to know
One Last Time in my life
One Last Time and then I’ll go.
I’ll go, but not forget you
Don’t take it the wrong way
I always will still love you
Still each and every day.
One Last Time I really need you
One Last Time my love is true
One Last Time is all I’m saying
One Last Time to be with you.
One Last Time I only love you
One Last Time you know I do
One Last Time I am still wishing
One Last Time I’ll be with you.
