I opened my eyes
And walked down the steps
They are about to reveal
The secret they have kept
How long have they been planning this
Is this a joke?
It's how their last nights kiss
Turned into a choke
A divorce?
Whats wrong?
With the life's chorus.
I tell myself, be strong.
One thing lead to the next
Whats going on?
It's one big mess
I know soon it will be gone
I packed my things
And walked to the car
An Angels wings
Reveal who you really are
It's like I'm standing there
All alone
No one cares
My Angel has flown
Everthing is moving so fast
My world begins to drop
Finally, it stops at last
As my stomach flip-flops
So I'll go with it
But it has a cost
Just to pretend
Makes me completly lost

| your talent has no bounds jennie. the first months are usually the hardest to cope with, but as time wears on you are either eaten away with what used to be and what isnt, or you become numb to what is. their decision was made for the best in their opinions and all has to respect that. but a divorce isnt the end of the world, at least both your parents are still around. |

| I may be the only person who writes poetry who does not come from a broken home..Just broken insides..Anyhow,this is evry well written and well done..Your subject I am sure is a hrad one to write..However,,in your writing you will find the therapy you need. |
