Lying on the glass floor, watching her past unfold in front of her eyes all over again.
She can see herself making the same mistakes, saying all the wrong things again.
She wishes she could just vanish.
Maybe if she bangs on the glass hard enough it would break and she could go back into her past and fix all the broken things.
She remembers the day you said good-bye to her your face was unreadable, that’s okay though, cos your eyes did all the silent talking.
They told the story of everything we’ve been through, and of the future that might have been.
Lying on that glass floor remembering then and those eyes that did all the speaking that day.
It may have been silent that day, but she could hear what your eyes had to say to her on that November day.
Lying on this glass floor one year later, and all she can see are those eyes speaking to her, saying their silent good-bye one last and final time. Good-bye....
