Loves Storm

Contributed by Kano on Sunday, 23rd January 2005 @ 01:47:21 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

In the distance the thunder crashes
In the sky the lightning flashes
Through the trees the wind does blow
The fragile flakes of the morning snow

All night long I listen to the sound
Of the mighty rocks the waves do pound
And if by chance one rock does break
The mighty hillside the sea might take

The storm rages on like a swarm of bees
It punishes the shores the hills and trees
It reminds me of a love that has been undone
The feelings of the storm could be anyone

But just when I thought it could never end
The sun rises up with a message to send
And just like that the storm fades all out
Like it remembers the love and lost all its doubt
