Toss and turn all night
But how much can I take?
The stress of everything
Is what keeps me awake.
My body is exhausted
Frustration growing deep
Can’t seem to ease my mind
And make me Fall Asleep.
Life is overwhelming
Nothing offers me relief
Can’t get passed impatience
And make me Fall Asleep.
Just close my eyes and stare
For hours into black
But wide awake as ever
I need to get on track.
I crave the dreams I’m missing
I pray my soul to keep
One night to clear my mind
And let me Fall Asleep.
This constant aggravation
These thoughts controlling me
Can’t lay them all to rest
My stress won’t let it be.
I pray the night will come
I’ll find a peace so deep
And let frustration go
And finally Fall Asleep.

| quite like this...like the monotony of the rhyme scheme...just sometimes ur rhymes seem a bit contrived - maybe watch out. REAlly nice tho! xx |
