Suicide

One night I needed help
and no one else was there.
Maybe they didn't realize
or maybe they didn't care.
I didn't beg, I didn't cry,
I just simply needed you.
Talking to you makes it better--
all this pain I suffer through.
I poured out all my heart,
but you didn't care to see.
You can't see past the words
that always seem to torture me.
You just blew me off
and I knew I couldn't win.
My walls were crashing down,
my mind was caving in.
I didn't have to think
of what I knew I had to do.
I went upstairs and got the gun
and knew this had to be for you.
My useless life was stopped
as I put bullets through my head.
And at that moment all I thought was
it's over, now I'm dead.
And as I flew to heaven
I looked back and all I saw
was you with my best friend
laughing at it all.
