Faded memories of loves past
Dusty files locked away at last
Songs no longer play in my mind
Ghosts do not haunt when I unwind
Days have come and gone
And I know to you only I belong
So in tune no words need be said
As we are getting ready for bed
Strong is the bond that holds us dear
And I so miss you when you are not near
So to rest I place all of days gone by
Without sorrow or even a sigh
Looking forward to now and all tomorrows
We will hold tight in joy and sorrows
Together we face and uncertain future
But our love I intend to nurture
Time alone will prove if we pass the test
But I will know we did our very best
Holding tight to each other in times turbulent
Will make this walk on earth well spent
