I can’t turn back now but I’ll die going on
How did everything end up so wrong?
I’ve been waiting for this to change for so long
Why did I have to be so headstrong?

Bleeding wounds will let you know
That the fear is still close by
That it wasn’t so long ago
When I said I couldn’t die

Oh the unsettled spirits will rejoice tonight
Thinking of my own soul’s flight
I used all this energy to put up a losing fight
So I’ll close my eyes and say goodnight

Without thinking twice, set my heart on fire
Take everything I lived for, take my whole empire
Cut me from the inside out, from my cheek down to my throat
Be your own world’s hero, please just let me go
