Wilting Away...I Wish...

Another day
Left to sit and wilt away
Beneath my crimson tree
I dream of happiness
That one day I will never get
So alone I will be
Lying on this purified landscape of dull misery
That I have not tried to protect
Rather let it happen
Than fix it
For giving up is something I have become rather good at
In these days of such quiet misery
Led by the tears that fall
That have felt too much to bare
To see and hear so much
And understand its crippling meanings…
That I wish to die
To be gone from such a world as this…
