Crumbling To Pieces Beneath Our Toes

I could be this person from the far off world of the winds.
I could be this dreadful person of all of our sins.
I can hide beneath our shadows upon the ground, beneath it.
Shall I keep on watching our world fly by,
Dying in peace...dying with guilt left upon its conscious?
Left to sit,
To watch,
To remain silent of these precious thoughts,
Of a world left to crumble to pieces.
Yet people can walk and talk as if it could never happen.
Will we fall to the ground and whisper our last words to this precious earth that can no longer breathe,
As we slowly begin to see that the world has been penetrated way to deep.
Our last words,
Our last breath,
Our last thought in this place that was never to be...
We have ended,
In such a glorious way.
A way that spoke aloud as many began to pray...
To realize that there is no way...

Great poem and most undiscovered . I like the many questions alluding to the end of the world or death. Ver thought provoking poem. |
