A Love Remembered

Love must be stronger than you or I

because my love can only cry

What is tears next to life?

I pray for true love and ask why

as the young life in my arms dies

What is hope next to sorrow?

Love brings a smile to the face of misery

and yet the life I love has left me

But sweet love remains

I cry and the tears fall on cold concrete

love’s kind embrace shall me ever keep

Why is love so strong and life so weak?

Love is like a snowflake that falls

gently in my hand as my heart calls

Why dear God, must it fade away?

Love is like the morning sun

everyday I recall my special one

Love is remembered always

I know exactly how you feel. I lost my love and I don't think I'll ever forget her, I think of her everyday. Great job with this poem :)
