Hate the hate that makes you hate

For hate don`t think of it even in jest
Let any evil longing rule your breast
Hate even the farmers, whose ploughs are bows
Hate not the people whose words become your foes
Than people of diseased mind, they utterly forlorn
Who stands alone as an object of many foeman`s scorn
There the world secured on one`s dexterity depends,
Whose worthy rule can change even foes to friends
No ally! flight with twofold enemy overmatched
And render one of these a friend to remain attached
Whether you trust or not, but in times of sore distress
Difference of opinion or agreement cease to press
To those don`t know them, do not complain your woes
Nor to your foeman`s eyes, your infirmities disclose
Know thyself the way, then by the same way defend
Which makes the pride of hatred people have an end
Destroy the thorn when its tender point can do no offence
Matured by time, pierces the hand that plucks it thence
But breathe upon them, who pass away and go
And fail to tame the pride of angry foe
