being a caregiver takes a lot of guts love and willpower
they are strong people to survive the rigors of alzheimers
that is why they are all survivors from start to finish
they know what has to be done and they do it no questions
can anyone survive being a caregiver
i dont think everyone is a survivor or able to be a caregiver
so many people turn away out of fear as if it was contageous
they dont know what to say maybe hello would be nice
i guess it boils down to being afraid of the unknown
can anyone survive being a caregiver
caregivers and victims live the unknown all the time
we cant let that control our days we have too much to do
meeting their demands doesnt give us time for anything elso
our job is time consumming but its an act of love our love
can anyone survive being a caregiver
we learn to laugh at things they do and say so we dont cry
we shed our tears in privacy on our bed away from them
we try to maike thier remaining times a happy one if we can
and we try to gaher all the memories we can for when theyre gone
can anyone survive being a caregive

My grandfather died of alzheimers 8 years ago, i know the hurt of watching them go. The caregivers are the bravest in the prossess, i just hope his were this sincere.
