Face the Struggle and Grow
Through darkness
There is light
Inside the pain
There is joy
In the storm
There is shelter
The rain will come
Thunder shall strike
Beyond the fog
A rainbow shines bright
Beams within the soul
Glows through the spirit
Unsettled drips of doubt
Dry amongst the desert
Tomorrow is no longer certain
Today shall not be planned
Live within the moment
Not within the past
Separated from the sorrow
Divided is thy heart
Isolated is thy soul
How shall I conquer?
What leaf will unfold?
Await the unknown
Fear not the struggle
Strength I shall hold
Courage I will find
Wisdom I will come to know

You have great insight in this poem. It was refreshing to read. The hard part is to keep this attitude throughout all of the dark times in life. It's easy to be grateful when you are happy, but when life hurts, it's hard to be grateful and accepting. I think we are contantly being reminded of this same lesson, over and over, throughout our entire lives.
You expressed yourself well.
Tomorrow is no longer certain

Live within the moment
True.
What leaf will unfold?
Await the unknown
Fear not the struggle
Strength I shall hold
Courage I will find
Wisdom I will come to know
Hopeful, accepting, grateful. Those are all of the feelings I felt from that. Thanks for sharing.
