My inside
Welcome to my inside where I stay
See here is where I come to play
Don’t be scared of what you see
For this is all it will ever be.
In the grip of my souls deep
Where all my sins outwardly seep
Why am I unable to be pure?
How am I to get free, I’m not sure
Why can’t I be happy? Can’t I smile?
All I desire is the slightest peace just for a while
Welcome to my inside where I stay
See here is where I come to play
I don’t have happiness in me to show.
So this is how my life will go.
My scars trace my dark past
They are so deep they will forever last
When will one be deep enough to make it end?
Because one more day in this pain I can not spend
When I look at them, the origins of my suffering I see
The desires, hopes, thoughts, and dreams of what I could be.
Welcome to my inside where I stay
See here is where I come to play
That is why I come here
So for me do not fear.
From the abyss inside of me
A light of hope I do see
My friends are here, all around
Their love for me does over abound
That is why I do not stay,
But sadly I will return another day
Thus ends the tour of my space
So if you come back the pathway to me you can trace
So come back if I am here
For the light will soon appear.

Honest, open, well-penned, and spelled correctly! I like this one.
And aye, I do know a bit of that deep dark inside-feeling. Faith and friends are good things to have.
