The Machiavellian people
Are hard to see,
As they conceal their face
Away from me,
They hone their blade
And prepare again,
With one fowl swoop
They inflict great pain
No way in sight
To mitigate the wound,
If it happens again
It can’t be attuned,
I’ll stay left damaged
Bleeding grief,
You’ve impinged on my life
Stole my happiness, you thief
