STARING AT THE WATER
HERE I SIT JUST STARING OUT
THE WATER IS SO BLUE
THE SOUND OF THE WAVES CRASHING BELOW
THE SUN IS SETTING OFF IN THE DISTANCE
THE SEA GULLS ARE PLAYING IN THE AIR
THE LIGHTHOUSE IS BLINKING AND DRAWING ME NEAR
IF ONLY YOU WERE HERE TO
WALK WITH ME TO ENJOY THE LIGHT
THE SMELLS THE SOUNDS THE SOFT SAND
BENEATH MY FEET
MY MIND IS WHIRLING WITH THOUGHTS OF ANOTHER
TIME AND PLACE
WHEN ALL STANDS STILL AND JUST THE TWO OF US
ARE ALL THAT IS HERE
TO ENJOY ALL THE BEAUTY AROUND
TO ENJOY ALL WE HAVE TO GIVE
TO ENJOY THE PEACEFULNESS THAT SURROUNDS
JUST THE TWO OF US
TO LOUNGE TOGETHER
TO READ SOFTLY TO ONE ANOTHER
TO FILL OUR DREAMS AND FANTASIES
TO TALK LAUGH AND SHARE
MAYBE SOON
MY HEART WILL QUIT LONGING
MAYBE SOON
MAYBE TIME WILL BE MY FRIEND

This was lovely, but could we give up the caps? They work great for a title or a few words here and ther, but when it's all caps, it's hard to read.

Beautiful write..Left me with a feeling of peace and tranquillity.. I think I'm going across to the beach..and stare at the water..
