waiting
Waiting endless as my time passes by it seems to go slower by every min of every hour
waiting watching that’s all I can do weakening by every shake of my head by every twitch every move
no words escape my dry tender lips no breath escapes my lungs
but still I wait still I hold onto that last breath with no showing of emotion
just a look of fear in the eyes that look upon me as they pass no one stops they never ask they just stare as they pass slowly a look of wonder a look of fear on there faces I don’t know who or for what I am waiting for
maybe a new life to come to me so they or it can teach me as well as I am teaching them or maybe I am waiting for death a lonely death an unknown death that will conceal my soul in to full darkness or full light I wonder in my mind but I still wait

Your poem is food for thought, it makes us think of the darkness we all harbor within our minds,it's a battle between the light[the love within us] and the darkness that wants to consum us, I choose the light,Ihope you do too.
