The Silent Girlfriend

Contributed by sir_odd87 on Thursday, 20th January 2005 @ 07:37:53 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I love the sound of her voice.
It's candy to my ears.
I don't know what I did.
But it's something I no longer hear.
A little after lunch,
My girlfriend buttoned up
She smiles at me
And she kisses me,
But she refuses to speak.
I don't mean to nit-pick.
But I doubt she's really mad
Like I said, she kisses me,
Which I don't THINK
She would do if she was upset.
I tried tickling her,
Pinching her,
Just to get a squeak.
But her will power is too strong.
I don't know what I did.
I would rather she had
Stopped kissing me
Than to stop talking.
I miss her voice.
I don't know why it's gone.
If she could tell me,
That would be GREAT.
