Heal the hating,
cure the pain.
Give light to the dark,
and kiss away the rain.
Just like a stain on my white dress,
I cut away each dying stress.
Peel it off my finger,
crave it in the wall,
I make everything better with
my lies so tall.
Just look up when your feeling down,
draw a breath and look around.
And right then you see the world,
what it really is.
It's cracks and mends and flattened dreams.
But it's okay,
whipe away your tears,
they say it gets better with the years.
