LOVES OF MY LIFE

Let me tell you bout the men I have loved,
Each one special for the way they showed their love,
I was just a child when I found love of my life #1
and he made my world brighter than the sun,
He was my daddy and my best friend,
but sadly drunk driving brought this love to an end,
Yet at the same time I still had a love of my life,
It was my Grandfather who made all the pain and strife
made it all disapear, and filled my life with cheer
any time I need him, he was always there,
he never told me NO, even if he didn't have much
Then slowly as time went by the hard life he had lived,
had been more than he could bare and he went peacefully in his sleep,
and i lost love of my life #2
Then one day as my heart on the mend
I found a great man who became my dearest friend
We made love all night long
and finally found arms and which i did belong,
but all good things must come to and end,
and I got the call that shattered my heart,
he had fallen and would never again say my name
and for the past 2 years my life hasn't been the same,
I lost love of my life # 3
so when you look in my eyes and see the pain
and the tears stains on my face
just know that I can move one
because Of the loves of my lives
1,2,3 and they are all still a deep part of me...
