Empty ridden window

Standing at the crumbling stair case
With rain pouring down
Drops trickle down the window pane
And wash away the brown
I can see the emptiness…
In the corner of this forgotten place
Lay a lone cracked crystal vase
Alone barren and cold
This simple thing beauty it could not hold
The warm salty rain pours down my face
For I could not go
I stare back at the darkness
And cry out for the vase in this empty ridden window
With the scene I connect
Although I don’t know why
Maybe the cracked crystal vase reminds me we all die
Or if I knew how to say
I feel for you this way

Beautiful write, though you may want to fix the spelling mistake in your title. "Empty"
