Even inspiration has flown away
Faded away as your memory fades
There’s little left to keep me tuned
Crumbs of those joyous, edgy days
With you the only thought in my mind
I try to hold on to you
But there awaits only pain
Remnant memories of you
Wither and decay
As time wipes out everything
And there it dies
A love that never was
Was never meant to be
Conceived in our minds
Sheer, plain fantasy

Emotionally heartfelt write. However, that first stanza could use a thesaurus so there is no repetition of words. Other than that, nicely penned.
