Only Me
A time in my life of disbelief
No reason for life
Eighty-nine cents
A time for pennence
Boonesfarm cheapest to be found
Another bottle drink it down
Talking to the mistress lady red
A rented room a shared bath
Other losers come and gone
Here existing all alone
Only me
In this lonely misery
Hope and prayers at my side
Yes a lonely man cries
Gentel and kind
This landlord of mine
I can help she said
Lady red offered her bed
With hopes to reconcile
I refused with a sadden smile
Only me
Boonesfarm my friend it be
Each day off to work fringing happiness
My life such a mess
Surly my wife will see
How important is my family
Always the thought of lady red
Comfort you will find in my bed
Knowing she wanted only to help
Me and I stayed by myself
Pictures of love and my children stare back at me
Cherry black Boonesfarm gives relief
Salty tears upon my cheek
Too easy going a little too meek
Love often said to me
Heart torn out I lost my family
Lady red my dearest friend
I told her no then moved on
Only me and Boonesfarm
