Standing in the blistering cold,
the day can grow so old,
looking over my shoulder,
watching the fire smoulder,
walking slowly over the snow,
no sun to see my shadow,
no footprints left on the ground,
nobody anywhere to be found,
the leaves dance around the trees,
blown off their feet by breeze,
round and round they tease one another,
before they run for cover,
trampled on like my broken dreams...
But then i see the sun it beams.
