He caught her as to the ground she fell
But too late it was for she was off to hell
And from her wound blood did cascade
“Don’t worry from death I am not afraid”
The last words she uttered that day
As from this world she drift away
Her skin it paled as her veins ran dry
Tears welled in his eyes while she slowly did die
He stroke her cheek, a frigid touch
“If only I hadn’t wished to much
We fled our home, so we could love
And now you have been sent above
By those treacherous angels and my cursed fate
To dwell in hell was my doomed fate
You gave your life to see me live
Now what is left for me to give
It was me they came for, yet it is you that dies
After all I caused you, after all my lies
The deception I lived in
My everlasting sins
The secrets I hid from you
Yet you still loved me true
You gave your up your life, so I could live mine
But what’s the point without you by my side?”
And as he uttered these words the world around disappeared
As white wings from his back soon did appear
His eyes the gleamed with a furious wrath
And soon everything was destroyed in his path
All the people surrounding, all the buildings near by
No one had any warning, yet they all surely died
“You gave up your life, just to allow me to live
Yet what is left for me to give?”
