Emotional Epiphamy

Contributed by broken_soul08 on Wednesday, 19th January 2005 @ 07:32:31 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

You refuse to look at me
You make me want to die
I watch you forget me
While you just pass me by

It hurts to see you happy
Happy without us
You're the only one I want
My heart's still full of lust

"Of course I still love you-"
You said, "How could I not?"
But you said you didn't want to 'hurt' again
I'd just like to say Thanks a lot

Because how could you hurt
If you're with the one you love?
How could you feel pain
If it's me that you dream of?

Thinking these things over
I realize your words may not have been true
And though you may not love me
I will still love you.

Great write!! I can really relate, as I have felt this way before. You're better off without him though. :-)

Good poem. I always feel that writting helps to deal with life's everyday obstacles. I hope writting this poem helped you to release some pressures. Don't let him get the best of you. It seems you have a lot to offer someone who will return the same. Whomever hurt you this way, is not worthy of your love. Good expressions!

Great poem. Writing for me helps me to work things out.
