Uncertainty surrounds a broken man.
Experience a dangerous illusion.
Caught up in himself and no one else,
His anger misdirected,
Lost all hope the day he shut his eyes.
Love again eludes a broken heart.
Pain is truthfully the bitter standard.
Effortless tries to prove his theory wrong,
He will end his days alone,
Laid back expecting love and happiness.
A final breath escapes a broken man.
Experience the deadliest illusion.
Impatience of a dream the misconception,
Reality the game,
That led a broken man so far astray.

| excellent, excellent, excellent. i loved the ending. i loved the piece. im glad i read this one.well once a man is broken, it is his duty to glue himself together or lay in pieces for others to step on and crush further into dust. |

I love this! This is one of my favorites of yours, this is an excellent poem. I loved the concept, the lines flowed, first and last stanzas were beautiful, this is a piece of work to be proud of!
