Falling in love...

They say love exists,
that it's as real as you and me,
we "see" it everyday,
in our struggles and pain,
in the way we dare and care

They say that girls live to fall in love one day,
but demons don't stray far away,
because in the end, love is a blinding fate,
it makes you weak as you appear strong,
it makes you think you're right when you're wrong,
it numbs the mind and silently kills the soul,
it kills you slowly without knowing,
because we know that once that feeling is gone,
everything in the world will feel wrong,
but in the end it was all worth it,
as you dug your own grave,
one six feet too deep to be saved.

A strong write worthy of several reads...can the question of love ever really be answered by mere men?
