Alata a Vana:
Pala i alcarin ered,
I halla aldar,
A i rilde elen,
Tule er mane fimello ring van ve i hwesta,
Mane hon na faro,
Mane hen aes van lim nar,
Mane quettan i harma,
Alatarya fea na ve i anar esse i firn var du,
Inyen gayaesse,
An va na lissi a thon,
Va na fi vana hai ai andune a romen.
Radiant and Beautiful:
Among the glorious mountains,
The tall trees,
And the brilliant stars,
Comes one whose slender form chills me like a breeze,
Whose heart is pure,
Whose eyes set me on fire,
Whose words are a treasure,
His radiant spirit is like a sun in the dead of night,
I am in awe,
For he is sweet and kind,
He is more beautiful than any sunset or sunrise.
