Pockets Full of Happiness

There you stood with
A smile and a laugh
Like you had pockets
Full of happiness
With hair so soft
And eyes so sincere
And a gentleness
That couldn't be matched
Like the pieces
Of a puzzle, you're
A perfect fit with
The girl standing here
Sent this way to
Soothe my broken heart
Write me a love poem
And tell me this:
Can you be mine
To hold forever?
Do you promise to
Be careful with my heart?
Can in your arms
Be just one more place
Where I belong and
Can I keep you?

Great poem, Dee. I really like this one. It's cute. Hehe, when I saw that line, "Like the pieces of a puzzle...", I was just like, hey... lol...
Love always
