I wait patiently for April fifth
When my blood will rise to meet my skin
Reopening these scars that lay within
Memories rise up through the tears
Nothing dimmed by these tragic years
I don't miss you any less
and it's true, I will confess
I'd give so much to see your face
The pain erased without a trace
