Tiring

Contributed by ForeverAlone on Tuesday, 18th January 2005 @ 06:26:51 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I've spent every day
hiding from my life
Trying to escape my pain
Trying to get what I could'nt
Gain

I've grown tired of being alone
Talking to myself
Asking myself the answers to my questions
I'm tired of asking and tired of waiting

Now I am tired of trying
Trying for what I want
What I need-Everything
It seems like a big circle to me
Im tired of getting nowhere

I'm tired of this life
This lonely and forgotten life
Please... give me a knife
I'll end it all
I'm tired of you all

This feeling I have is tiring
Waiting for the answer
I know... You will leave me crying
So what is the point of trying
When it's all
Tiring?

Good job, this made me really sad. But, it's always hard to be happy when reading something like this. It's a really moving poem.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
