Oedipus Complex

I got caught smoking outside
My mother can’t stand to fear
Little does she know
All this morning I’ve been drinking beer
I smoke, I drink, I sweat, I lie
And in truth it’s only just alibis
Masochism is my demise
I can only pray for the day that I die
Whipped and beaten, wrenched and drought
Beat and wrenched I will not forget
He said he loved me and excuses surmise
But I know all the better, I wish to die
Oedipus must have known the delight
To have his mother in such disdain
For when his father found out
Oedipus took his name in vain
And so I laugh and smoke and drink
Only time will tell
What will become of me?
I hope not for heaven but wish for hell.
