Find Me

Face flushed.
Heart beating.
Clocking ticking.
I am lost.
I am going up and down
Like little kids on a teeter tauter
Fall back into crisp water.
It is time to cool off.
Face flushed.
Heart beating.
Clock ticking.
I am lost.
Doesn’t matter much anymore
If your eyes see me
Or if mine see you.
Pretending is living.
Clacking Camera.
Falling rain.
Lost whispers.
Find me.
I am looking through boxes
Remembering old smiles, dried tears.
Thinking the past does not matter
As long as I can close the boxes.
Clacking Camera.
Falling rain.
Lost whispers.
Find me.
I am wrapped in feather blankets.
Eyes peering out foggy windows.
You are beside me now, arms around me.
Maybe you need the past after all.
Finally, you have found me.
