Through his eyes

Man once said that every burden is the same,
in the end inevitable was the pain,
the hunger, the drought, the murder and the fame,
the worlds death is just another game
Greed has taken the seed of life and quenched the people of their strife,
the television has taken people and made them into plastic dolls,
the magazines, the covers, for whom the bell tolls,
death, misery and pain on the bleeding edge of a knife where the suicide strolls.
The art of changing someone could be compared to a song,
you might say the right words but in the end they sing it wrong,
cannot teach those who won't learn,
cannot make people live for something that they will burn.
Through his eyes, he sees hunger and pain,
through his eyes, he sees life and gain,
through his eyes, he sees the portal of your soul,
through his eyes, you are a plastic doll...
