The things that never work out
Are the things that work the best
You find you work the hardest
When your strength's put to the test-
When courage is truly fleeting
But you have to show your skill
It's one spectacular moment
Where the game's kill or be killed-
Which road would you choose
Were all the cards layed down
Would you turn and loose the battle
Or wear the victory crown?

Beautiful. Your simple, soft words convey deep meaning and wisdom. Very impressive. The only problem with the victory road is that it is narrow and never easy, but always worth it in the end when we get our eternal reward. Fantastic poem. |
